Mr. Willie Nance Jr.

Mr. Willie Rufus Nance, Jr. leaves a rich and everlasting legacy. He was a son of Mr. Willie Rufus Nance, Sr. and Mrs. Clara Irby Nance. He was raised and educated in Laurens County. On July 9, 2026, Willie heard God say, ”Your work on Earth is complete; it’s time to come home”.

Willie Nance, Jr. loved his wife and family dearly and enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends. We represent his endless and unconditional love. We are his loving and devoted wife of thirty-seven years, Jacquelyn Nance; his daughters: Teressa (Serdonnafer) Collier of Nashville, TN. Felicia (Eugene) Freeman of Simpsonville, SC, Barbara (Briane) Evans, Cathy Nance both of Laurens, SC and Adrienne Young of Charlotte, NC; stepson, Cedric Lovelist also of Charlotte, NC; 10 grandchildren: Ameer Muwwakil, Brian Wilson, Nicholas Freeman, Demetrius Cofield, Tazaris Evans, Jerome Reid, Jr., Princess Davis, Takaylah West, Jamal (Wytrica) Nance, and Damien (Dometricia) Nance; fourteen great grandchildren; one sister, Rosa Scott of Laurens, SC; his mother-in-law, Lillie Pearl Lovelist and a host of other loving relatives and friends. We acknowledge the profound impact Willie had on our lives, the prayers he prayed for us and the dreams he nurtured for each of us.

In addition to his parents, Willie was greeted in Glory by two of his children; Sharon Nance Reid and Willie Charles West; as well as four siblings: Mamie McDowell, Mary Alice Nance, John H. Nance and J.B. Nance.

Willie leaves footprints of kindness, love and joy on the hearts of his family and friends. We celebrate his great strength and his unwavering love.
