Mr. Maurice A. Anderson was born on July 17, 1978 in Clinton, South Carolina, the son of Larry D. Martin and Patricia A. Anderson. He departed this life on Monday, July 27, 2026 at the age of 48 in Simpsonville, South Carolina. Maurice was educated in the public schools of Laurens County, South Carolina.

He was preceded in death by: his grandmothers: Lillie M. Anderson and Annie M. Martin; his grandfather, Willie R. Anderson; special aunts: Ethel M. Martin and Linda A. Smith; and three uncles: Willie R. Anderson, Jr., Robert L. Anderson, and Paul E. Anderson.

He leaves to cherish his memories: in addition to his parents: one son, ZH'Rece I. Anderson; two granddaughters: Madacyn Anderson and Naiari Jackson; three sisters: Kelda Golden of Mauldin, SC, Mishay Anderson and Ursula Anderson both reared in the home; six special brothers: Demetrius Anderson, Jerome Anderson, Seante Smith, Jimmy Butler, Kevin Henry, and Chris Pressley; two nephews: Jakob McGee of Mauldin, SC and NaQuone Smith of Greer, SC; his loving companion of many years, Pamela Cunningham of the home; two aunts: Sylvia Wrice and Gwendolyn Anderson both of Laurens, SC; two uncles: Ralph (Andrea) Martin of Clinton, SC and Henry L. Anderson of Gainsville, FL; two special young men whom he loved as his sons: Santonio Cunningham and Kemija Anderson; and many other cousins, relatives and friend.
