Ms. Brenda Jean Goggins was born November 18, 1956 to the late Lomas Goggins, Sr. and Annie Mae Goggans.

Brenda was educated in the public schools of Laurens County. At an early age, she joined Zion Hill Baptist Church. She was a member of the Women Aid Society No. 48.

Brenda was employed for more than thirty-two years at Whitten Center until she retired in 2011. Upon retirement, her life’s calling was to care for her family whom she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Lomas Goggins, Jr.; three sisters: Willie Lee Suber, Sarah Ann Goggans, and Bertha Mae Campbell; and one nephew, Octavius Roman.

She leaves to cherish her many beautiful memories three brother: Johnnie Goggins of the home, Jimmie (Patricia) Goggans of Waterloo, SC, and Glenn (Pamela) Goggans of Clinton, SC; two sisters: Delores Goggans of the home and Barbara (Jerry) Roman of Greenwood, SC; one aunt, Judy Bittle of Gastonia, NC; one special cousin, Mary Williams of Silverstreet, SC; her beloved babies: Miliana Goggans, Giana Goggans, and Josiah Goggans all of the home; two godsons: DaChavius Goggans of the home and Jatrevious Campbell of Simpsonville, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and friends.

On Tuesday, September 29, 2026, Ms. Brenda Jean Goggins departed this life and entered Eternal rest at the age of sixty-nine.
