Anthony Bernard Mims

Anthony Bernard Mims of 119 Spring Street Laurens, South Carolina departed this life on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Easley Prisma Health Baptist Hospital in Easley, South Carolina. He was born in Laurens County, South Carolina on June 12, 1965, to Rachel Mims and the late Jimmy Butch Mims.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Mims; and his brother, Sammy Lee Mims.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories, in addition to his mother, Rachel Mims of the home; his stepson, Marcus (Katie) Grant of Cross Hill, SC; four step grandchildren: Mar´Travion Grant, La´Terrance Grant, Mar´Kavion Grant, and Serenity Grant; four sisters: Bertha (Borin) Mims of Clinton, SC, Josette (Charles) Dillard and Wanda Mims both of Laurens, SC, and Betty (Willie) Brown of Gray Court, SC; two brothers: Jimmy Boyd of Braydenton, FL and John (Lisa) Mims of Laurens, SC; a special uncle, Calvin Miller; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
